This project involved a property with one of the highest heritage gradings in Cape Town. The building had been carefully maintained by the owner to preserve its authenticity, which had become a key attraction for visitors. The proposed intervention introduced additional rooms within the existing roofscape, allowing the property to expand its accommodation offering while maintaining the building’s historic character. The project was successfully approved by the relevant heritage authorities.
